APPEARANCE

Ambrosia is half Filipino and half European, so she has black hair and light skin. On the right side of her head near her ear, she dyed a clump of hair purple. She is rather small, 4'9, and is has a normal body weight. She prefers black and red colored clothes to pink and orange. Dresses are a no-no, since you can barely run in one. Ambrosia doesn't wear hats, and sunglasses give her headaches. She does, however, use a pair of bottom rimmed reading glasses, but ONLY for reading. She has a piercing on each ear, and wears a cross on her right ear (no earring on left ear). She also has plain black eyes.

PERSONALITY

Ambrosia is a bit of a gangster. Despite her small size, she knows 5 forms of martial arts, and won't hesitate to use it. She's tough, and absolutely HATES being called cute. Ambrosia is the type to turn off her alarm clock and promise to herself to get up in 5 minutes, but just falls asleep. Her attendance is horrible. She's gone to over 7 schools in her lifetime, so she's not afraid to be the new kid. Although she is a troublemaker when it comes to fighting, she is a good student and very smart. She skipped 9th grade, and went right into 10th. Lastly, even though she is a gangster, she avoids drugs and alcohol, because " I don't want to kill my precious body. What kind of a place would the world be then?!" She's a tough person, who loves laughs, loves life, and eventually, loves people.

HISTORY

Ambrosia Sylva McCarthy was born on September 13, 1997 in San Diego California, to Tim and Andrea McCarthy. On June 23, 2007, her pregnant mother and her father were hit by a drunk driver, and killed on impact. Ambrosia was pulled out of her summer camp to be brought to an orphanage, as her mother and father were only children whose parents had already passed. As a result of being put up for adoption, Ambrosia ran away, and lived on the streets. She joined a gang known as "Curse" , and eventually became the leader.
Years later, after staying at friends (gang member's) houses, she was caught, and brought to a Juvenile Detention Center in Indiana. After good behavior, she was released, and sent to Arcadia Hills Orphanage. She completed 8th grade in the Juvenile Detention Center, and was able to skip into 10th grade.

WRITING SAMPLE

Ambrosia spun her cross ring around her finger. Biting her lip, she produced a low growl. "What," She snarled, "the hell do you think you're doing!" A boy about her age had turned his head to face her, away from the poor boy he held a knife to. He smirked. "Be smart babe. Get the f*** out of here." He turned back to his prey, before he had heard the girl running, before everything went red, before he completely blacked out.
