My name is Zac Fornea and I teach art history here in this stupid little high school in this stupid little town of Arcadia Hills.
How long have you been in Arcadia Hills? Do you like Arcadia Hills?[/font][/b]
I've been here for a year. Do I like it here? Refer to my answer above. I'm from New York, man. I don't belong in a small town like this.
How long have you been teaching?[/font][/b]
I'm twenty three and I started teaching at age twenty one. I'm a bit of a prodigy.
What do you like to do when you're not at the school?[/font][/b]
I love to draw and paint and I've recently tried photography which is really cool. Beside those things I'm taking boxing classes and I love it.
Do you see potential in these students? Are they the future of America?[/font][/b]
Sure, that's why I try and treat them like they're my equals. I don't hold back with these kids. I get a lot of crap for cursing in class and being too open with these kids but you know what? These kids are like my family. I want them to see me as a type of big brother figure.
What is the hardest lesson you've ever had to learn?[/font][/b]
Don't automatically assume that everything will just fall into place for you. When I moved here last year I thought I had everything in the bag. I was wrong. A lot of the teachers didn't take me seriously because of my age, I didn't know anyone here, I had no where to stay and I had no money. So yeah, things were rough. I was really stupid to think that life would just be perfect because I got this job. I now know the value of hard work and because of this things have really fallen into place for me. I still hate this town but that's a different story I guess.
